A waste plastic liquefaction/reduction device is provided with: a pretreatment section 2 for plasticizing and discharging a waste plastic Rr; a thermal decomposition vessel 4 in which the plasticized waste plastic Rm discharged from the pretreatment section 2 is to be stored; a thermal decomposition treatment section 3 which is equipped with a heating section 5 for heating the thermal decomposition vessel 4 so that the waste plastic Rm can be thermally decomposed to generate a decomposed gas Gr; a condensation vessel 7 in which a partitioning wall 7w having an opened upper part 7u is provided to form a front vessel part 7f and a rear vessel part 7r so that the decomposed gas Gr generated in the thermal decomposition treatment section 3 can be supplied to the front vessel part 7f; a condensation treatment section 6 provided with a condensation section 9 which is equipped with a cooling section 8 for cooling the condensation vessel 7 so that the decomposed gas Gr supplied to the front vessel part 7f can be condensed to produce a recycled oil Ro; and an oil storage section 10 in which the recycled oil Ro supplied from the rear vessel part 7r is to be stored.
