Abstract:
Provided are a water-alcohol separation system and water-alcohol separation method for achieving energy savings through the entirety of a process and producing high-purity alcohol. The water-alcohol separation system is provided with: a plurality of separation membrane modules connected in series; a decompression device for decompressing permeating sides of the separation membrane modules; and a condenser for condensing vapor that has passed through a membrane, wherein the permeating sides of the separation membrane modules are decompressed in a plurality of independent decompression systems.
