Abstract:
The disclosed water purifier comprises a deionization device for purifying water by using electrical power, and a control unit electrically connected to the deionization device. The deionization device includes a housing, and a plurality of electric filters disposed in a plurality of isolation chambers formed in the housing, respectively. The control unit separately operates the plurality of electric filters as a plurality of adsorption electric filters for adsorbing an ionic substance, and at least one idle electric filter in a standby state during a water purification operation, and restarts the water purification operation or performs a regeneration operation for regeneration of the plurality of electric filters, depending on whether a command to restart the water purification operation is input within a predetermined waiting time from the stopping of the water purification operation.
