Abstract:
Provided is a water spray nozzle (1) for which flow rate adjustments can be carried out easily by a hand that is grasping a grip part (3). The water spray nozzle (1) has a curved nozzle main body (6) comprising: a grip part (3) to be held by a user, the grip part being formed in a substantially cylindrical shape extending upward from a base end part on which a connection opening (2) for introducing water is formed; a substantially cylindrical nozzle part (4) that extends forward from substantially the upper end of this grip part (3) and on which a water spray opening (5a) is formed at the tip; and a water flow path (10) that extends from the connection opening (2) in the grip part (3) to the spray opening (5a) in the nozzle part (4). The water spray nozzle (1) is also provided with a flow rate adjusting valve formed from: a rotating valve body (17) which is disposed in the flow path (10) in this nozzle main body (6) and which, by rotating, increases and decreases the flow rate of water passing through the flow path (10); and a flow rate manipulation member (18) that protrudes from the upper part of the back of the grip part (3) and is linked to the rotating valve body (17) so as to be able to rotate around an axis substantially parallel to the grip part (3).
