Abstract:
Provided is a water tank for an aircraft, which is obtained without a coating step for preventing water and an adhesive for attaching an inner liner to a skirt section from coming into direct contact with each other and which is therefore advantageous for reducing cost. A cover 34 is joined to an opening section 18 by engaging a male thread 50 with a female thread 36, and an O-ring 52 is compressed to liquid-tightly close the opening section 18, thereby forming a closed water containing space 12A within a tank body 12. The portion of the cover 34, which compresses the O-ring 52, is a corner formed by an end surface 4402 of an annular plate section 44 and an outer peripheral surface 4602 of a cylindrical section 46. The portion of the inner liner 22, which compresses the O-ring 52, is the portion of the inner liner 22, which is attached to a sloped surface 40. The end 2202 of the inner liner 22, which is attached to a surface of a protrusion section 38, is located outside the water containing space 12A.
