The present invention discloses a wave-absorbing composite material and a preparation method therefor. The wave-absorbing composite material comprises a wave-transparent layer, a reflecting layer, and a wave-absorbing layer arranged between the wave-transparent layer and the reflecting layer, wherein the wave-absorbing layer comprises multiple layers of a wave-absorbing hollow fabric composite material which are sequentially stacked, and each layer of the wave-absorbing hollow fabric composite material comprises a hollow fabric and a resin which is arranged on the surfaces of the fibers of the hollow fabric in a filling manner and in which a wave-absorbing agent is dispersed. According to the present invention, in a multi-layer wave-absorbing hollow fabric composite material prepared by means of dissolving a wave-absorbing agent in a resin and adding the wave-absorbing resin to the fibers of a hollow fabric, the wave-absorbing agent is uniformly dispersed, such that the wave-absorbing composite material is excellent in overall performance, and free of interfacial properties, and also has the excellent properties of a light weight, a high strength, layering resistance and impact resistance; moreover, different wave-absorbing paving layer structures can be designed according to the requirements of the electrical properties and the mechanical properties, so as to achieve the compatibility between the electrical properties and the mechanical properties and meet the feasibility of a forming process therefor.
