Abstract:
Provided is a purification method with which it is possible to effectively reduce TOC components derived from a weak base anion exchange resin. A weak base anion exchange resin purification method is used, said purification method comprising: a reverse regeneration step in which an acidic solution is passed through a weak base anion exchange resin, causing the resin to enter a swollen state; a first rinse step in which the resin in a swollen state is rinsed using a rinse water after the reverse regeneration step; and a regeneration step in which the resin is regenerated using an alkaline aqueous solution after the first rinse step, wherein, in the first rinse step, the rinse water passes through the resin in a quantity which is at least four times the resin quantity.
