Abstract:
A wearing article having a chassis which is bent in a crotch region.
A diaper (10) is folded along an imaginary lateral center line so that front and rear waist regions (11, 12) are in contact with each other and so that first and second edges (22, 32) in the regions substantially match with each other. In the above described folded state, first folding lines (75) which extend in the longitudinal direction (Y) are formed in gasket cuffs (70) in portions thereof which are located on the front waist region (11) side relative to the imaginary lateral center line. The first folding lines (75) are formed along the side edges of the core member of a liquid absorbing structure, and the gasket cuffs (70) which are located on the outer sides of the side edges are folded back along the first folding lines (75) to the side of an outer sheet which is located on the clothes side. Second folding lines (85) which extend in the longitudinal direction (Y) are formed in leakage barrier cuffs (80). The second folding lines (85) are located on the front waist region (11) side relative to the imaginary lateral center line, and folded distal ends are expanded and folded back to the side of the outer sheet which is located on the clothes side.
