Abstract:

A welding control device configured so as to control a position control subject, which includes a welding wire used in welding a welding subject, and/or an electrode for melting the welding wire, said welding control device being equipped with: a first determination unit for determining the actual position of the position control subject on the basis of a welding characteristic amount detected from an image captured so as to include at least the position control subject, said welding characteristic amount including the wire position of the welding wire and/or the electrode position of the electrode; a second determination unit for determining a target position, which is a target for the actual position in accordance with an input condition, on the basis of the input condition, which includes orientation information about the electrode when the welding subject is welded and/or shape information about the welding subject; and a control unit for executing control of the position of the position control subject for bringing the actual position to the target position.
