Abstract:
This wheel chair is provided with: a seat unit (112); a wheelchair main body (110) that has a pair of side frames (111) that support the seat unit (112) and has front casters (120) and rear casters (129) that are respectively attached to the front and rear of the pair of side frames (111); a main wheel unit (130) that has a pair of main wheels (131), a connecting shaft (132) that rotatably connects the pair of main wheels (131), and a pair of armrests (134) that are fixed to the connecting shaft (132) and that extend above the main wheels (131); and a connection mechanism (150) that is provided to the wheelchair main body (110) and that removably connects the connecting shaft (132) of the main wheel unit (130) to the wheelchair main body (110).
