Abstract:
A wheelmark transverse distribution measuring system (1), comprising a system for measuring a distance from one side of horizontal section of a vehicle to a road shoulder, a characteristic database for the shape and size of one side of the horizontal section of the vehicle, a wheelmark transverse distribution characteristic determining system, and a wheelmark transverse distribution characteristic database. A method for measurement by using the wheelmark transverse distribution measuring system (1) comprises the following steps: measuring shape and size data of one side of the horizontal section of the vehicle and distance data from one side of the horizontal section of the vehicle to a laser ranging sensor by the system for measuring the distance from one side of the horizontal section of the vehicle to the road shoulder; recognizing the vehicle; calculating a speed; recognizing a vehicle model; establishing an original wheel database; recognizing wheels; and making a wheelmark transverse distribution characteristic curve. The laws of a wheelmark transverse distribution coefficient in different situations can be statistically acquired, high measurement precision is achieved, and all-weather data collection can be implemented.
