Abstract:
Disclosed is a white light-emitting device (1) comprising a blue light-emitting diode chip (5) emitting blue light in a specific wavelength range, a first resin layer (10) composed of a cured product (11) of a silicone resin and encapsulating the blue light-emitting diode chip (5), and a second resin layer (20) covering the first resin layer (10) and containing a phosphor powder (22), which absorbs the blue light and emits light in a specific wavelength range, and a cured product (21) of a transparent resin. The phosphor powder (22) has a composition represented by formula (1) [chemical formula 1] (Sr1
-x-yBaxEuy)2SiO4 (1) (wherein x and y satisfy 0.05 < x < 0.5 and 0.05 < y < 0.3). The first resin layer (10) has a thickness within the range of 200-2000 μm. The white light-emitting device (1) has high luminance for a long time.
