Abstract:
A wire arc additive manufacturing-based chassis structure design method, relating to the technical field of additive manufacturing, and comprising the following steps: S1: defining a design domain, and determining the design domain according to the shape characteristics of a chassis; S2: establishing a base structure model, discretizing to obtain discrete points of the design domain, and connecting the discrete points to form the base structure model; S3: establishing an optimization model, and forming the optimization model taking the minimum structural volume as an optimization target; S4: establishing a generative design model, and determining design variables and design requirements to obtain a chassis structure solution; S5: adjusting the structure: selecting a solution according to manufacturing requirements and aesthetic standards, manually adjusting the structure according to visual feedback of structural finite element analysis, and perfecting a chassis structure solution in the case of ensuring structural performance; and S6: performing physical manufacturing: converting the chassis structure into a physical model for manufacturing. The method is high in design freedom degree and high in industrial applicability, and the designed product satisfies industrial morphological aesthetics and manufacturability.
