Abstract:

A pair of reel bobbins (46, 47) are provided on a frame (32). A length of wire (37) paid out from one of the reel bobbins (46, 47) is spirally passed around a pair of work rolls (33, 34) which constitute a cutting device (31), and the wire (37) is caused by rotation of the work rolls (33, 34) to run while it is taken up by the other of the reel bobbins (46, 47). In this condition, cutting feed is effected between the wire (37) and a work (30) to perform cutting processing on the work (30). The pair of the reel bobbins (46, 47) are supported with their axes in a vertical direction.
