Abstract:
Provided is a wire substrate with a carbon film having a large effective electron beam irradiation angle. A wire substrate with a carbon film provided with a rod-shaped substrate and a carbon film formed on the rounded surface thereof and containing nanodiamonds and nanowalls is positioned on the central axis of a cylindrical or funnel-shaped anode, and is characterized in that when electrons are emitted by applying voltage between the anode and the wire substrate, the effective electron beam irradiation angle from the carbon film is greater than 30° and less than or equal to 95°.
