Abstract:
An electrical connector (100) includes a housing (115) having a first opening to receive a first wire (105) and a second opening to receive a second wire (110), a first contact (215) within a volume (135) of the housing (115) to electrically connect the first wire (105) to the second wire (110), such that the first contact (215) includes a first contact tine (225) and a second contact tine (230), and a second contact (220) within the volume (135) of the housing (115) to electrically connect the first wire (105) to the second wire (110), such that the second contact (220) includes a third contact tine (235) and a fourth contact tine (240). The first contact tine (225) is biased towards the third contact tine (235) to receive the first wire (105) and the second contact tine (230) is biased towards the fourth contact tine (240) to receive the second wire (110).
