Title:
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/031419
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An RFID tag (101), which is an example of a wireless communication device, transmits and receives communication signals. The RFID tag (101) is provided with a base material (1), antenna patterns (2A, 2B) formed on the base material (1), and an RFIC package (3) connected to the antenna patterns (2A, 2B). The antenna patterns (2A, 2B) are configured from a plurality of conductor patterns (2Aa to 2Ae, 2Ba to 2Be). The antenna patterns (2A,2B) as a whole resonate at a communication frequency. Each of the plurality of conductor patterns (2Aa to 2Ae, 2Ba to 2Be) has a line length that does not resonate at the frequencies of an electromagnetic-heating microwave band higher than the communication frequency. With this structure, it is possible to prevent ignition and combustion even in a situation in which the RFID tag is attached to a food item and the like and subjected to high-frequency power for heating foods.
