Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to enable, in a charging device equipped with a plurality of chargers, a total output power to maintain a target output power even in a situation in which some of the chargers cannot output an expected power. The charging device is provided with: first and second chargers connected in parallel; and a control unit for controlling the output powers of the first and second chargers on the basis of a total power command value. When the first charger can perform a charging operation up to a maximum output value of the first charger, the control unit assigns the total power command value to the first charger when the total power command value is up to a first output value less than or equal to the maximum output value, and assigns the total power command value to the first and second chargers when the total power command value exceeds the first output value. When the first charger can perform the charging operation up to a second output value less than the maximum output value, the control unit assigns the second output value to the first charger and assigns a remaining output value obtained by subtracting the second output value from the total power command value to the second charger when the total power command value exceeds the second output value.
