Abstract:
The present invention establishes a connection associated with relaying, with some functions related to wireless communication being limited compared to an access point. Provided is a wireless communication device comprising a connection establishment processing unit and a communication control processing unit. The connection establishment processing unit performs a connection establishment process for establishing a first connection with a wireless terminal via a relay device with limited functionality for referring to the content of data in frames used for wireless communication. After the establishment of the first connection, the communication control processing unit performs a process for controlling communication with the wireless terminal via the relay device. The wireless communication device may also perform wireless communication of a signal with the wireless terminal on the basis of the establishment of a second connection, the signal containing information used in the establishment of the first connection.
