Abstract:
The present application provides a wireless communication method and apparatus, a network side device, and a user terminal, and relates to the technical field of wireless communications. The method comprises: a network side device determining N fixed channels according to a preset radio frequency number, wherein N is an integer greater than or equal to 2; the network side device determining a first fixed channel from the N fixed channels, the first fixed channel being M channels in the N fixed channels, wherein M ≤ N, and M is a positive integer; the network side device sending a discovery reference signal (DRS) over the first fixed channel, the DRS comprising at least one of a synchronization signal, broadcast information, and a system message; the network side device transmitting data with a user terminal over a data channel by means of frequency hopping, the data channel being all or part of channels other than the N fixed channels. The method ensures a plurality of fixed channels are available for network side devices to send a DRS, and the network side devices can select one or more fixed channels therefrom to send the DRS, such that the network side devices have more opportunities to send the DRS, thereby improving access efficiency and data transmission efficiency between a user terminal and the network side devices, and achieving an effect of increasing system capacity.
