Abstract:
Problem: The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate state inconsistency when state inconsistency is caused between a wireless terminal and a base station without new upstream direction traffic.
Solution: A wireless communication system of the present invention is an LTE wireless communication system for performing communication between a base station and a wireless terminal, characterized in that the base station in an RRC_IDLE state transmits paging information including paging information to a specific wireless terminal, and the wireless terminal, upon receiving the paging signal including the paging information addressed to the wireless terminal in a CONNECTED_DRX state, locally releases RRC connection from the CONNECTED_DRX state and transitions to RRC_IDLE state.
