A wireless communication terminal (10) is provided with a paging management unit (130), which, on the basis of a paging message received by a receiving unit (110), determines whether or not notification information in a communication cell that received a paging message has been modified, and whether or not notification information in another communication cell has been modified; which controls the receiving unit (110) using a control unit (140), so as to receive the paging message of a particular communication cell among a plurality of communication cells; and which, on the basis of the paging message of the particular communication cell and using the paging management unit (130), controls the receiving unit (110) so as to receive the paging message of a communication cell other than the particular communication cell when it is determined that there is a modification in notification information in the other communication cell, and controls the receiving unit (110) so as to receive the notification information of a communication cell when it is determined that there is a modification in notification information of said communication cell from which a paging message has been received by the paging management unit (130).
