Abstract:

A wireless communication terminal is provided which is capable of breaking a wireless communication connection even during the execution of an application program predicated on the continuation of the communication connection. The wireless communication terminal, which is adapted to transmit data to the other end of communication in response to a transmission processing request from an application executing means operative to execute an application program, establishes a wireless communication connection with the other end of communication; breaks, based on a given condition, the wireless communication connection with the other end of communication to transition to a communication break state; re-establishes the wireless communication connection with the other end of communication upon reception of a transmission processing request from the application executing means during the communication break state; and transmits data, which is related to the transmission processing request, to the other end of communication after the re-establishment of the wireless communication connection.
