Abstract:
Provided is a wood feeder for a forestry harvester wherein when a difference in rotational speed occurs between a middle roller and feed rollers, the middle roller can work together with the feed rollers to the left and the right to smoothly and reliably feed wood while preventing the feed rollers from rotating unproductively. In the wood feeder for a forestry harvester, hydraulic motors of the left and right feed rollers are respectively connected in series to a pair of left and right hydraulic motors of the middle roller on a hydraulic circuit, and tree limbs are removed while wood is transferred by rotating the middle roller and the left and right feed rollers by means of the hydraulic motors. The middle roller comprises: an inner wheel and outer wheel fixedly connected to a rotation shaft of the pair of left and right hydraulic motors; and a ring-shaped rotation transmission member disposed between the inner wheel and the outer wheel. The ring-shaped rotation transmission member is fastened to the inner surface of the outer wheel or the outer surface of the inner wheel, and transmits the rotation of the inner wheel to the outer wheel. When a difference in rotational speed occurs between the middle roller and the left and right feed rollers, the outer wheel is slid and rolled on the inner wheel.
