Abstract:
This work machine comprises a turning body, a work device, a position detection device that detects positional information of the turning body, a posture detection device that detects information related to the posture of the work machine, and a control device that executes machine control on the basis of a target surface that is set on the basis of target shape data, the positional information of the turning body, and the information related to the posture of the work machine. When the control device becomes unable to acquire the positional information of the turning body by means of the position detection device, the control device stores turning angle information of the turning body detected at this time by the posture detection device as reference turning angle information. When the turning body is positioned outside a turning range defined on the basis of the reference turning angle information, the control device prohibits the execution of machine control. When the turning body is positioned inside the turning range and when the turning body is positioned outside the turning range and thereafter positioned inside again, the control device permits the execution of machine control.
