Abstract:
Provided is a work machine that prevents contact between a bucket and a dump truck or the like while reducing an operational load on an operator in soil discharge work. This work machine comprises: a vehicle body; an arm that is supported by the vehicle body and rotatable in the vertical direction; a bucket that is supported by the arm and performs tilt operation and dump operation; an arm actuator that rotates the arm in the vertical direction; a bucket actuator that causes the bucket to perform tilt operation and dump operation; and a control device that controls the arm actuator and the bucket actuator. The control device determines whether the work machine is in a soil discharge state in which soil is discharged or a non-discharge state in which soil is not discharged, on the basis of a bucket operation signal for causing the bucket to perform tilt operation and dump operation. If the work machine is determined to be in the soil discharge state, the arm actuator is controlled so as to rotate the arm upward.
