Abstract:
This work machine comprises: a flow rate control valve that controls the flow rate of a working oil to be supplied from a hydraulic pump to a hydraulic cylinder; an electromagnetic valve that generates an operation pressure for operating the flow rate control valve; and a controller. The controller executes a learning process for changing, in a stepwise manner, the operation pressure generated by the electromagnetic valve, detecting the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder, and storing, as a learning result operation pressure, the operation pressure when the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder has reached a reference value. The controller calculates a before and after differential pressure of the flow rate control valve, calculates a target opening area of the flow rate control valve on the basis of the before and after differential pressure and a target flow rate of the working oil passing through the flow rate control valve, calculates a target value of the operation pressure to be generated by the electromagnetic valve, on the basis of an opening characteristic table, the target opening area, and the learning result operation pressure, and controls the electromagnetic valve on the basis of the target value of the operation pressure.
