Abstract:
[Problem] Provided are: a parachute which can be increased in size at low cost, and the strength of which can be more improved than conventional, regardless of having a relatively small number of panels; and a safety device and a flying body comprising the parachute. [Solution] The parachute 100 comprises an umbrella body 11 having an umbrella apex 14 and an umbrella edge part 15, and a plurality of lines 12. The portions along the peripheral direction in the range up to midway positions from the umbrella edge part 14 to the umbrella apex 15 are folded in the peripheral direction of the umbrella body 11 to respectively form triple folds, the portions being fixed by sewing and the like to form folded portions 17. The folded portions 17 are each connected to one end of the respective line 12.
