Abstract:
The present invention suppresses deterioration in work efficiency. An electric cutting machine 10 has a battery mounting portion 28 provided at a rear end portion of a housing 20, and a battery 34 is mounted to the battery mounting portion 28. Now, a cover unit 70 is attached to the battery mounting portion 28 of the housing 20, and a lower cover 71 of the cover unit 70 covers the battery 34 from a lower side. Accordingly, in a case of a worker happening to lift a rear end portion of the electric cutting machine 10, the lower cover 71 is lifted. That is to say, the worker can be suppressed from directly lifting the battery 34. As a result, lifting force can be suppressed from being directly input to the battery 34. Accordingly, deformation and damage of the battery 34 and the battery mounting portion 28 can be suppressed, and work efficiency can be improved.
