Abstract:
A hydraulic shovel (1) comprising a controller (40) that controls a work machine (1A) by generating a control signal for a boom cylinder (5) so that the distal end of the work machine moves along a target face (60) and by outputting the generated control signal to a flow rate control valve (15a) of the boom cylinder (5) when the distal end of the work machine (1A) approaches the target face due to pilot pressure that is output from an operating device (45a, 45b, 46a), wherein the controller: calculates position information for the completed work (97) formed by the work machine on the basis of topographical information input from a topographical measurement device (96) that measures the topography around the work machinery; and corrects the control signal so that the completed work becomes closer to the target face on the basis of the calculated completed work position information.
