Abstract:
In a work tool with a telescopic rod, the present invention makes wiring from a motor operation switch to a control circuit and an inverter circuit efficient and reduces the number of connecting wires necessary. Provided is a work tool that has an extendable wand section (3) and drives a brushless motor (13) provided on the tip of the wand section by a battery pack (70) provided on a grip section (4), wherein the control circuit and the inverter circuit are provided on a control circuit board (25) near the brushless motor, and a motor switch (44) is provided on a back housing (41). The connecting wire for connecting the switch to the control circuit is covered by a coiled cord together with a power source wire from the battery pack to form extendable wiring (8). The wand section is configured from a hollow pipe and the coiled cord is disposed inside the wand section.
