Abstract:
[Problem] The movement of a moving unit is optimized to allow efficient transport of a workpiece while the rocking of a worlpiece holding unit is prevented during delivery and reception of the workpiece. [Solution] A workpiece transport device (20) transports a workpiece W to a transport destination and is provided with: a guide G disposed corresponding to the transport destination; a device body (21) having a moving unit (22) which moves along the guide G and also having a workpiece holding unit (23) which is provided to the moving unit (22) and which holds the workpiece W; and a control unit C2 for controlling the device body (21). The control unit C2 controls, according to at least one of the position, the direction of movement, and the distance of movement of the moving unit (22), at least one of the speed of the moving unit, a curve relating to the acceleration or deceleration of the moving unit, and a time constant relating to the acceleration or deceleration.
