Abstract:
According to the present invention, the outer end in the radial direction of an annularly-formed inner wheel element (15a) made of a metal, etc., is embedded in an annularly-formed outer wheel element (16a) which has worm wheel tooth parts (19a) on the outer circumferential surface thereof and which is made of a synthetic resin. The outer circumferential surface of the inner wheel element (15a) overlapping, in the radial direction, with sections at which the worm wheel tooth parts (19a) and worm tooth parts are engaged with each other, is defined as a cylindrical surface section (24). This configuration enables achievement of a structure in which manufacturing error of the worm wheel tooth parts to be engaged with the worm tooth parts can be inhibited.
