To ensure clarity of an image obtained from an x-ray detector and thereby improve visibility of an image of a leading end part of a guide wire which is shown on an image display device of an x-ray fluoroscopy device, an x-ray fluoroscopy device according to the present invention comprises an x-ray tube, a power supply unit, an x-ray detector, an image processing unit, and a control unit. The control unit further comprises: a detecting unit which detects the leading end part of the guide wire; a brightness computing unit which derives the brightness in a region of interest; and an adjustment unit which adjusts the power supplied to the x-ray tube by the power supply unit on the basis of the the derived brightness.
