Abstract:
In order from the object side, this zoom lens has a first lens group (G1) that has negative refractive power, a second lens group (G2) that has positive refractive power, a third lens group (G3) that has negative refractive power, and a fourth lens group (G4) that has positive refractive power. Said first lens group (G1), second lens group (G2), third lens group (G3), and fourth lens group (G4) move along the optical axis such that the distances between said lens groups change so as to vary the focal length of the lens. In order from the object side, the first lens group (G1) has an object-side-most negative lens (L11), another negative lens, and a positive lens. The length (D3W) of the air gap between the third lens group (G3) and the fourth lens group (G4) at the wide-angle end and the length (D3T) of said air gap at the telephoto end satisfy the following condition (1): 0.30 < D3W/D3T < 1.10.
