Abstract:
A fabric having a hot water soluble component and a generally non-soluble, dispersible component is provided. The fabric can be disposed of using conventional waste water management techniques. The hot water soluble component can include polyvinyl alcohol fibers that dissolve at temperatures greater than 37 DEG C. The generally non-soluble, dispersible component can include pulp fibers. The generally non-soluble, dispersible component can be entangled with the hot water soluble component using various methods, such as hydraulic entangling.
