Abstract:
The invention relates to an epilation device for plucking hairs from human skin, comprising a housing in which an epilation head (1) driven by a driving means is mounted. Said epilation head (1) is provided with tweezing elements (6a, 6b) performing closing and opening movements when impinged upon by actuating means so as to tweeze, pluck, and eject hairs, and straightening elements for impinging the hairs, said straightening elements (11) being embodied as pins which comprise an undercut (14) in the area of the free end thereof facing the skin.
