Abstract:
To improve quality of service for a mobile node and to achieve better management of radio resources in a mobile communication environment, it is proposed to generate a location-related context (S10, S12) with respect to a mobile node receiving services in the mobile communication environment. The location-related context, e.g., an identity of a mobile node and his moving schedule, will be used in support of handover and paging in the mobile communication environment. According to the present invention, it is proposed to acquire mobile node mobility information in response to a data transaction characterizing a mobile node mobility.
