Abstract:
The method involves transmitting a signaling message with a call identifier to an emergency call center (ECC) to establish a connection between a terminal (T) and the center, in case of a request by a call number. A textual message e.g. SMS, having data representing location of the terminal and a call identifier, is transmitted to the center. The signaling message is associated with the data, when the messages have the same identifier. An independent claim is also included for a device for assisting location of a communication terminal by an emergency call center for a call server of a communication network.
