Abstract:
The setting device has a pressure element (3) associated with a compressible section of the seat side-piece (1), allowing the height of the side-piece to be adjusted by providing a compression pressure for the compressible section. The pressure element can be provided as a surface element, e.g. a material layer, band or mesh, the pressure exerted via a Bowden cable (4). An independent claim for a seat provided with a side-piece having a compressible section is also included.
