A mixer (6), e.g. for concrete, has a channel (4) to carry the mixture followed in the flow direction by a diffuser (8) and a converging section (11) with a cylinder section (9) between them. At least one dosing unit (12,17) is within the mixer with at least one dosing point, for an additive to be fed into the mixture.
