Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a resistance against a scraping operation [a rotating operation] from being increased at an ice manufacturing machine using a scraping process while the scraped ices are adhered to a scraper, prevent an over-load from being applied to a motor and perform an efficient ice-making operation under a less amount of consumption power.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a slurry ice manufacturing machine comprising a cylindrical container storing water to be made into ice therein; a supply pipe for supplying the water into the container; a discharging pipe for discharging ice generated within the container; a refrigerant passage arranged along an outer peripheral surface of the container; a rotating shaft arranged to extend toward a center axis of the container; and a scraping part fixed to the rotating shaft to scrape off ice produced at an inner peripheral surface of the container showing a feature that a scraping blade surface of the scraper constituting the scraping part is arranged in a radial direction of the container or in parallel with the radial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
