Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular control device which, in a vehicle comprising a torque converter provided between an engine and an automatic transmission and a lock-up clutch provided in the torque converter, allows for combination of fuel economy improvement with shift shock reduction when shift of the automatic transmission is performed during control of complete lock-up or control of flex lock-up of the lock-up clutch.SOLUTION: A target difference rotation Nst between input rotational speed Ne and output rotational speed Nt with respect to a lock-up clutch 32 is calculated on the basis of a target shift time tt calculated according to a running mode of the vehicle, such as a sport mode, an eco-mode, and a normal mode, and a shift stage shifted by shift of the automatic transmission 22. Combination of driveability with fuel economy can be achieved by controlling the lock-up clutch 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
