Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm valve capable of exhibiting a high-flow and stable, high Cv value by permitting formation of an optimum flow path space based on a desired Cv value without losing body strength regardless of an extremely compactly miniaturized valve body.SOLUTION: A diaphragm valve includes: a valve seat sheet arranged in a valve chamber within a body; an annular groove provided in an outer perimeter of the valve seat sheet; a diaphragm provided so as to be capable of contacting and separating from the valve seat sheet via pressing means; and a primary side flow path communicating with the valve chamber. In the diaphragm valve, the inner diameter of a secondary side flow path connected to the annular groove is 2.0 to 4.5 times larger than the groove width of the annular groove, and an intersection cross-sectional area of the annular groove and the secondary side flow path is made smaller than the sectional area of the secondary side flow path and is configured to be 35% or larger than the cross-sectional area, thus obtaining a desired Cv value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
