Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pattern noise while securing wet performance.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire comprises: lug grooves 24 provided on a tread surface 21 of a shoulder land part 23S to cross with respect to a tire circumferential direction and arranged in plural numbers in a tire circumferential direction, one ends 24a of which terminate in the shoulder land part 23S and the other ends 24b of which pass through a grounding end T; and notched parts 25 formed at opening edges of the lug grooves 24 by being notched from the tread surface 21 across inside in a tire radial direction. The lug grooves 24 are formed so that a groove width y decreases gradually from one end 24a to the other end 24b thereof, where terminating positions thereof are arranged in a range Wa of 5% or more and 35% or less from a main groove 22 in terms of a tire width dimension W from the main groove 22 to the grounding end T and a position with the maximum groove width y0 is arranged in a range Wb of 40% or less from the main groove 22 in terms of the tire width dimension W from the main groove 22 to the grounding end T. The notched parts 25 extend from the one ends 24a of the lug grooves 24 to the other ends 24b and are formed so that a notch width x thereof increase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
