Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine in which foam hardly overflows from an outer tub and to provide a control apparatus therefor.SOLUTION: The washing machine comprises: an outer tub; an inner tub provided in the outer tub so as to communicate with the inside of the outer tub; a drive unit performing driving to agitate water in the inner tub; a circulation path connected to the outer tub so as to circulate water in the outer tub; a circulation pump for forming a flow of water in the circulation path; and a control apparatus for controlling the drive unit and the circulation pump. The control apparatus controls the circulation pump, in a washing period WP for driving the drive unit to wash clothing in the inner tub, such that a state where the circulation pump is driven is included in a first washing period WP1 in which an output of the drive unit is high and a state where the circulation pump is stopped is included in a second washing period WP2 in which an output of the drive unit is low.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
