Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner capable of uniformizing a temperature distribution of air in an indoor space.SOLUTION: An indoor unit 2 for an air conditioner includes: a first suction port 11 opened on a first side surface 7 of a casing 4 to suck air F; a first lid 15 provided in the first suction port 11; a first lid drive section for moving the first lid 15 between a position in which the first suction port 11 is opened and a position in which it is closed; a second suction port 12 opened on a second side surface 8 at a side opposite to the first side surface 7 of the casing 4 to suck the air F; a second lid 16 provided in the second suction port 12; a second lid drive section for moving the second lid 16 between a position in which the second suction port 12 is opened and a position in which it is closed; a lid control section for controlling the first lid drive section and the second lid drive section; and a blowout port 31 provided on a surface different from a side surface on which the suction ports 11, 12 are provided and blowing out the air that has passed through a heat exchanger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
