Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin polarizing plate that has a good appearance when laminated on a display cell, and a display using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a polarizing plate comprising: a polarizer; a first protective film that is laminated on one face of the polarizer with a first adhesive layer having a thickness of less than 2.0 μm therebetween; and a second protective film that is laminated on the other face of the polarizer with a second adhesive layer having a thickness of 2.0 μm or less therebetween. When the polarizing plate is arranged on a display cell, the second protective film is arranged closer to the display cell than the first protective film, and the thickness of the first adhesive layer is smaller than the thickness of the second adhesive layer.
