Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst body capable of achieving improvement of reliability and an increase of carrying force.SOLUTION: A photocatalyst body 1 comprises: a photocatalyst layer 3 being provided on a substrate 2 and containing a photocatalytic material; and a coating layer 4 being provided on the photocatalyst layer 3, preferably covering the photocatalyst layer 3, and containing zeolite. When a weight of the photocatalyst layer 3 is defined as W3, and a weight of the coating layer 4 is defined as W4, the photocatalyst body 1 is constituted so as to have structure laminated so as to satisfy a relation of 0.2≤(W3/W4)≤0.4. It is desirable that a material of the substrate 2 is ceramic having a void ratio of 10 to 40%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
