Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical writing device which can achieve miniaturization of a device and an image formation apparatus having the same.SOLUTION: Light-emitting elements 111 in a light-emitting element group 112 are grouped as a channel for each light emission time, and the gravity centers of the light-emitting elements 111 in the channel are aligned on the straight line in parallel with the main-scanning direction. The interval between the adjacent gravity center lines is decided on the basis of the resolution in the sub-scanning direction and the magnification of an imaging lens. When the two light-emitting elements 111 being apart the most from each other in the main-scanning direction are defined as the first light-emitting element P1 and second light-emitting element P2, and the point obtained by projecting the gravity center point of the imaging lens onto a light-emitting substrate 11 is defined as the lens gravity center point, the first light-emitting element P1 or second light-emitting element P2 is arranged at the position the furthest from the lens gravity center point. The first light-emitting element P1 and second light-emitting element P2 are arranged in the channel being the closest to the lens gravity center point out of the channels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
